Welcome to the inaugural Eco Awards. The Fort Collins Cycling Festival is more than a celebration of bikes, bands and beer: it’s also about being environmentally aware. We’re working hard to make this event green and, through the Eco Awards, we’re offering you this chance to show us your "green thumb".

How to Enter

Entering the Eco Awards is easy: Simply write a 1,000 words or less essay about your team and your alternative fuel of choice. Tell us about how you will reduce your environmental impact on your journey to Fort Collins, or give us your thoughts on sustainable travel. For example, we’re teaming up with a local producer of biodiesel to help reduce carbon emissions during the events. What are you doing?

This is an important way to share what you’ve done, or share your ideas on reducing our impact on the environment while keeping this great event fun for everyone! Be creative, have fun, share your ideas and practices and help make the Fort Collins Cycling Festival a green event!
