Thank you for coming to the inagural 2008 Fort Collins Cycling Festival. We have enjoyed having you come in for the weekend of racing. In one week we will have a photo gallery up for you to see the racing images. You soon will be able to see the results for the two days of racing at the ACA site. Welcome to the Fort Collins Cycling Festival, Feel the excitement as citizen riders and pro racers come together all in one weekend for racing/riding action, citizens rides are timed just as racers with of course all amenities, sags stations, sag vehicals and certain awards and prizes at weekends completion. Hosting the new “Citizen’s Rist Canyon Road Ride” and the “Dash for the Cache” Mountain Bike Treasure Hunt. Fort Collins is located at the edge of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and whether you are a sport cyclist or an avid pro racer out for cash and prizes, this Northern Colorado city offers cycling events for you. You and your entire family can readily enjoy a summer of cycling adventures, professional races and fun!

All summer cycling events start and finish at CSU’s Hughes Stadium, located at the foot of beautiful Horsetooth Reservoir. There are plenty of designated viewing areas so there will be no chance of missing any of the excitement of American Cycling Association professional road racing or USA Cycling Nationals. Food and beverages will be available at the cycling pavilion. There will even be free cow bells for the spectators.
Old Town Activites for the Whole Family
Enjoy a weekend of biking, hiking, racing and a whole host of outdoor activates. And that’s not all: Don’t miss plenty of Old Town activities such as Cruiser Bike tours and food from the finest restaurants in Fort Collins, catering to your every taste.
Old Town Fort Collins is lined with nature, tourist, antique, retail, and candy and confectionary shops. There are a variety of restaurants (over 84 of them, actually) to provide a taste for any craving, and countless places to dine outdoors. Additionally, ride the only original trolley car west of the Mississippi through a beautiful historic Old Town neighborhood. And on any given day, you can enjoy the sounds of live music drifting through the square.
